Daily responsibilities will vary based on delivery schedules, order volume, staffing, and branch needs. Candidates must be willing and able to perform both functions.Responsibilities+ Receive, organize, pick, stage, and load electrical materials.+ Verify orders for accuracy before pickup or delivery.+ Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.+ Safely deliver materials to customer locations and jobsites.+ Load, secure, transport, and unload customer orders.+ Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle inspections.+ Provide professional service to customers.+ Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and DOT regulations.Reports to: Profit Center ManagerMinimum Qualifications:+ Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.+ Active DOT Medical Card at hire and maintained throughout employment.+ Ability to meet company, insurance, and DOT driving requirements.+ Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.+ Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and flexibility.+ Authorization to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications:+ Warehouse, delivery, forklift, or electrical-distribution experience is preferred.Working Conditions:Unconditioned warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
