Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol - Weekends

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. DayTime Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, observe conditions, and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, hallways, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and orderly operations within the healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
