Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA to join their team. As a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting the logistics and inventory management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA

Location: Salem, VA

Pay Range: Based on skills

Shift: 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

• Receive materials and verify shipments against purchase orders

• Locate and organize materials in designated storage areas

• Assist in assorting materials for production needs

• Support inventory control through cycle counts and record keeping

• Prepare finished products for shipment and coordinate transportation

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred

• Ability to operate forklift and handle materials safely (forklift handling preferred)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in English and good communication skills
