Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA to join their team. As a Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting the logistics and inventory management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler/Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Forklift) | Salem, VA
Location: Salem, VA
Pay Range: Based on skills
Shift: 8 hours per shift
What's the Job?
Receive materials and verify shipments against purchase orders
Locate and organize materials in designated storage areas
Assist in assorting materials for production needs
Support inventory control through cycle counts and record keeping
Prepare finished products for shipment and coordinate transportation
What's Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred
Ability to operate forklift and handle materials safely (forklift handling preferred)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in English and good communication skills
