Kitchen Assistant

Warm Hearth Village is searching for a dedicated full time Kitchen Assistant to become part of the team at the Kroontje Health Care Center.

FREE MEALS EVERY SHIFT YOU WORK! Starting payrate 14.00 - 15.00 per hour

No previous experience in food service is required--we're looking for people with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work as a part of a team.

We provide company paid ServSafe certification and CPR/FA, along with uniforms and work shoes.

This position can be a steppingstone to further career opportunities throughout Warm Hearth Village and the wider healthcare field. This is a great way to get your foot in the door in dining services and at Warm Hearth Village.

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED
• Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift.

Shifts hiring for:

• Full time 5:30am to 2:00pm with every other weekend shifts.
• Requiring 1 hire for this position
• Expected start date is as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Greet residents upon arrival and serve them in a timely manner.
• Assure dining room is cleaned and stocked.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment.
• Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner according to local and state guidelines.
• Communicate suggestions from residents to managers.
• Assist in meal preparation.
• Attend in-service trainings and department meetings.
