You'll greet and assist walk-in customers, handle parts requests from the service department, manage special orders, and ensure incoming shipments are accurately received and stocked. The ideal candidate brings a genuine passion for powersports, a customer-first attitude, basic mechanical knowledge of at least one riding segment, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment. This role requires comfort working on your feet, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. all while maintaining the high service standards MotoSport.com is known for.This position will report into the Parts Manager.What you get to do:Customer Sales & ServiceGreet and assist over-the-counter customers in a friendly, professional manner; prioritize walk-in customers, with telephone customers as secondary priorityAchieve monthly and annual sales goals established by managementSuggest related items and upsell to ensure customers have everything they needHandle parts and accessories requests from the service departmentNotify customers of special order arrivals by phone; follow up by postcard if not picked up within 5 business days; escalate to Parts Manager if still unclaimedShipping, Receiving & InventoryReceive, inspect, and check in parts and accessories shipmentsMatch and staple purchase orders and bills of lading and forward to the Parts ManagerStock received items accurately and in a timely mannerPrioritize and place parts orders to meet service and customer timelinesBox and ship special orders to customersGeneral OperationsAbide by all dealership policies, including general housekeeping standardsFollow company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all timesMaintain positive, collaborative working relationships with all team membersPerform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and dealershipWhat you bring:Customer-first mindset with a passion for the powersports industryHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum six months of service experience in any industry; customer service background preferredBasic mechanical knowledge of at least one powersports segment (Dirt, Street, ATV, Utility ATV, UTV, Cruiser)Basic knowledge of powersports soft goods and gearProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive mindset with creative problem-solving skillsSchedule:Tuesday-Friday 8:45am-6pm and Saturday 8:45am-4pmPhysical Demands & Working EnvironmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.May be required to push and/or balance a 600 lb+ recreational vehicleAbility to use a keyboard and computer for extended periodsAbility to spend the majority of the workday on your feetWork environment noise level is occasionally loudWorking Conditions: This associate may be exposed to:Battery acidGasolineChemical cleaning materialsOther toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle place of businessThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
