Drivers (Part-Time)Friendship is looking for Drivers to join our team on a Part‑Time basis. Hours and hours vary. CDL a plus! Some short weekend hours required.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCDL preferredValid Driver's License in the state of VirginiaSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to occasionally lift or move objects weighing 50 poundsUse hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and walkResponsibilitiesTransporting residents using the Friendship bus or taxiAssist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle in safe mannerAdhere to scheduled pick up and drop off times; anticipates travel times to accommodate schedulesExamine vehicles for cleanliness; remove any trash and clean car handles with anti‑bacterial wipes after each transportAdhere to vehicle maintenance standards; examine vehicles regularly and report any maintenance or safety issues to Director immediatelyAssist with resident activities as directedBenefits for Part Time positions include:401(k) retirement plan along with employer matchEmployee Assistance ProgramFriendship values diversity.
