The Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2) organization delivers advanced mission systems and engineering solutions that support critical customer missions around the globe. Our Engineering & Technology organization provides the technical leadership, innovation, and execution necessary to develop and deliver next-generation capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide executive-level support to the MIC2 Vice President and Chief Engineer of Engineering & Technology. This position plays a critical role in enabling organizational effectiveness by supporting executive operations, coordinating across functional teams, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily business activities. This position requires on-site support at a Lockheed Martin facility a minimum of two days per week.

As the Administrative Assistant supporting the MIC2 Vice President and Chief Engineer of Engineering & Technology, you will serve as a trusted partner responsible for managing executive operations, coordinating activities across the organization, and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among stakeholders. You will operate in a fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the executive's calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and proactively anticipate scheduling needs and conflicts.
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including itinerary management, expense reporting, and travel issue resolution.
  • Interface with executives, senior leaders, customers, and administrative staff across the organization.
  • Support customer visits, executive meetings, and special events, including coordination with security, facilities, and other support organizations.
  • Manage conference room scheduling and meeting logistics, including VTC, Teams, and classified and unclassified meeting support.
  • Coordinate logistical requirements for classified meetings while ensuring compliance with security procedures.
  • Support recurring staff meetings, leadership reviews, and organizational events through data collection, attendance coordination, presentation support, and action item tracking.
  • Maintain office operations including supply management, shipments, mail distribution, and administrative support activities.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business communications.
  • Lead or support special projects, initiatives, and organizational activities as assigned.
  • Monitor action items, commitments, and deliverables to ensure timely closure and follow-through.
  • Provide occasional support outside normal business hours when required to address critical business needs.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,200 - $109,595. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
