Director of Sales Operations

The Director of Sales Operations (DSO) is responsible for leading a team of Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP) and oversees the sales process to achieve high market growth. They support the sales team by providing coaching, mentorship, and support to drive revenue growth and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and leading a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members to support long-term growth goals.
  • Performing quarterly ride-alongs with each team member to evaluate and support ATP development.
  • Creating and implementing growth and development plans for Assistive Technology Professionals.
  • Developing and executing strategies for expanding the area referral base across key business segments.
  • Responsible for developing new referral relationships and growing existing referral base through strategic externally focused activities including: business partnership reviews, account meetings, and cold calls.
  • Representing Numotion at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.
  • Managing the financial performance of the team to meet top line revenue goals, optimize gross margin and grow EBITDA.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving consistent pipeline growth.
  • Engaging and partnering closely with cross-functional business leaders, providing open communication and ensuring processes align to the achievement of the most important shared goals.
  • Utilizing Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission.
  • Adhering to employee and customer confidentiality and complying with Numotion's policies and federal regulations.
  • Providing timely and effective solutions for customer concerns and continually improving customer service as a top priority.

Required qualifications, skills, and experience include:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, including leading, mentoring, and/or coaching.

Preferred competencies and qualifications include:

  • Experience in a clinical/therapy role and/or ATP role.
  • Knowledge of CRT (Complex Rehab Technology) business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
  • Inspires and motivates others to perform well, effectively influences actions and opinions of others; provides vision to peers and team.
  • Ability to effectively utilize technology and able to learn and adapt to innovative technology environments.
  • Demonstrates ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, working with cross-functional team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Proven ability to act as a change agent within a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to develop and execute multiple business priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, to effectively address all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Physical work requirements include:

  • Ability to travel at least 50%.
  • Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associate with computer equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of time working at a desk and/or on a computer.
  • Occasionally move and reach with arms and hands.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
