Description:

Data Analyst

ITS Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to support Transmission Field Services by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and real-time quality of critical asset data used in energy delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review engineering drawings (one-lines, schematics, BOMs, and manufacturer documentation) to identify and validate transmission assets for commissioning.
  • Support entry, updates, and maintenance of asset data within asset management systems.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of asset hierarchies and attribute population.
  • Monitor data workflows and ensure timely completion of asset entry tasks.
  • Support commissioning activities including checklist coordination and asset in-service updates.
  • Perform data validation and assist in resolving discrepancies under supervision.
  • Support reporting and tracking of asset metrics using tools such as Power BI.
  • Collaborate with field teams and engineering groups to resolve data issues.
  • Assist with process improvements related to asset data management and commissioning workflows.

Essential Skills & Tools

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Visio
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple structured data tasks
  • Basic understanding of data entry, tracking systems, and reporting tools

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of data/records management experience, OR
  • Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Civil, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field with 1+ year of experience
  • Experience with data entry or technical recordkeeping preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, compliance-driven environment

Preferred Experience

  • Utility, transmission, or engineering environment exposure
  • Experience with asset management or data tracking systems
  • Familiarity with construction or engineering drawings
  • Understanding of capital project or commissioning workflows
