Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

Help Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing, supervising, planning, overseeing and training of the Planned Maintenance and Projects Maintenance shop personnel.
• Determining labor and material costs for maintenance and repairs, minor improvements, maintenance contracts, and alterations.
• Furnishing advice and recommendations to services requesting work.
• Maintaining a comprehensive work order assignment system that details emergent, routine, short & long term work assignments.
• Determining equipment, supplies and maintenance required.
• Perform quality assurance checks on completed work assignments to ensure workmanship, adherence to safety procedures, productivity & efficiency level.
• Assuring that material is ordered and delivered to work sites so as not to delay work.
• Scheduling work assignments under the indirect supervision of the M&O Supervisor.
• Administering the time and leave functions.
• Provide technical and administrative supervision to ensure that the section staff adequately maintain and perform building repairs in an efficient and complete manner.
• Explaining management polices to employees and provides technical and professional administrative guidance and counseling.
