Job Description Job Description Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for our downtown Roanoke, VA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for a variety of project types, including educational, civic, arts, and commercial buildings. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to mentor staff are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities: Design HVAC systems for various project types
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Mentor junior staff members
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements: Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia
7-10 years of professional experience preferred
Proficient in design load calculation and energy modeling programs (Trace, ComCheck)
Experience with Word and Excel
Proficiency in REVIT preferred
