Electrical Engineer

ITAR US Citizen or Permanent Resident is required - No Corp to Corp (C2C) or 3rd parties

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as we continue to provide advanced electronics and subsystems to cutting edge satellite programs. Our projects push the performance envelope for both power and digital applications in space.

Electrical Engineer support a wide range of electrical design projects. You will contribute to all aspects of the full product lifecycle: from requirements development, through preliminary design, critical design, prototype, test, and production.

Electrical Engineer are encouraged to work as independently as possible on their assignments, with ample guidance from a more senior-level staff member on more complex design, analysis, or testing programs. Electrical Engineer are encouraged to work on many aspects of electrical engineering, from firmware design to analog power electronics.

Desired Skills and Experience

We are interested in individuals with skills in one or more of the following areas. Note that individual experience in each/ all of the below areas is neither expected nor required!

• Total related experience 3-5 years
• Electrical CAD design in OrCAD and Allegro, or Altium
• Experience with firmware design in VHDL and/or Verilog
• Electrical analysis, such as worst case, stress and FMECA
• Designing test equipment, including test script development using Matlab, Simulink, C, or Python
• Benchtop testing and debugging
• Electrical test plan/procedure generation
• Collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering team

This position is on-site in our office in Northern VA.
