Automotive Service Dispatcher

The Automotive Service Dispatcher is experienced and results-focused, responsible for dispatching work to technicians and maintaining daily schedules for all technicians.

Distribute shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy

Assign work to the correct technician level

Ensure that technicians follow warranty policy and procedure guidelines

Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures

Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly

Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms

Maintain a record of carryover vehicles

Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department

Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion

Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and properly documented

Assists in all other areas of the Service Department

Achieves the production objectives set by management

Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
