Job Description - Lead all accounting functions for assigned construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Serve as the project team's primary financial resource, providing clear, timely answers and support.
- Manage job cost accounting, including subcontractor payables, client invoicing, budget tracking, and forecasting.
- Strengthen and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures related to project financials.
- Collaborate proactively with project managers to identify and resolve accountingrelated issues before they escalate.
- Drive invoicing turnaround by improving documentation workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and consistently following up with vendors and clients.
- Monitor project financial health and recommend riskmitigation actions.
- Support project closeout, ensuring clean reconciliations and complete documentation.
- Produce timely, accurate financial reports and submissions.
- Contribute to additional accounting initiatives as needed.

The Successful Applicant A successful Project Accountant should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-5 years of project accounting experience within the construction industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore; familiarity with ERP or construction accounting systems (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
- Selfmotivated, independent worker with strong problemsolving and followthrough.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment.
- Highly organized, detailoriented, and consistently positive in communication.
