You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (MIL/OA) in the Officer Selection Team Roanoke, of 4TH MARINE CORPS DISTRICT.
You will maintain close working relationships with civilian applicants to ensure candidate applications are complete and accurate.
You will apply current policies, regulations, reviews, and screening applications for commissioning eligibility.
You will manage the administration and functions associated with the Officer of commissioning programs and Officer Candidate Course and Platoon leaders Class.
You will enter applicant data and maintain applicant/candidate records in electronic form.
You will use strong interpersonal skills to affect positive relationships with potential applicants, current candidates, and personal contacts.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing clerical support such as administering background screening, reviewing documents, and/or processing applicant packages for commissioning programs; 2) Utilizing knowledge of Office 365 products (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams) as well as AdobePro; and 3) Working independently to maintain deadlines.
