Process payroll adjustments, including corrections, tax adjustments, and entries for third-party sick pay.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll audits, implementing any necessary corrections.
Assist with year-end payroll processes, including the review and validation of W-2 and 1099 forms.
Document processes, compliance changes, and system updates to keep the service team and clients well-informed.
Make updates in the system to reflect federal, state, and local regulations.
Set up, update, and perform quality assurance (QA) on tax codes, earnings, and deduction configurations.
Provide guidance and training to the service team on compliance-related updates and best practices.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Experience with payroll systems and configuration (HRIS/payroll platforms)
Working under direction, provides application and system support for clients
Resolve a full range of internal and external requests
Assist with the coordination of various processes and programs as they relate to client needs
May have administrator duties, or oversight responsibilities on applicable systems
Prepare responses to client complaints under supervision by more senior management
Work on data collection, fact-finding and research
May have responsibility to conduct and/or coordinate training of others
May have responsibility for compliance and administration of applicable corporate policies, local policies and federal and state regulations
May be responsible for documentation

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Three to five years' experience in workforce in a responsible position
Must maintain licenses and/or certifications relative to area of responsibility
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing both internally and externally
Proficient use of applicable technology
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational skills, time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to travel as necessary
