Operations Manager

Hammarstrom Inc. has been a proud contractor for FedEx for the past 19 years. We pride ourselves on reliability, safety, and a team-first culture. We are currently expanding our team and looking for a fully engaged and experienced professional manager to help lead our operations and support our drivers.

We are looking for a leader with top-tier people skills who can effectively deal with employees, resolve conflicts, and keep morale high. You should be a natural problem solver who can handle the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of the logistics industry while maintaining a great attitude.

• Team Leadership: Manage daily driver schedules, oversee dispatch, and handle employee relations with empathy and professionalism.
• Problem Solving: Think on your feet to resolve route delays, vehicle issues, and customer service hurdles.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed and terminal standards are met daily.
• Fleet Support: Keep an eye on vehicle health and assist with minor troubleshooting when necessary.

• Experience: Proven track record in a management or supervisory role.
• Logistics Knowledge: Experience in the logistics or delivery industry is a big plus, but not required!
• Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanical knowledge is a big plus to help us manage fleet maintenance and minor repairs.
• Mindset: A positive, solutions-oriented attitude is a must.

• Drivers license
• No criminal background
• Random drogtest (including weed)
• Manager experience
