What You'll Do:
  • Manage accounts receivable and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all payer sources
  • Verify patient information, eligibility, and payer requirements to support clean claim submission
  • Process billing, payments, adjustments, and reconciliations within the billing system
  • Research claim denials, correct issues, and resubmit claims as needed
  • Perform collections activities and monitor aged receivables
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient financial records and billing system data
  • Collaborate with internal teams, physicians, and external partners to obtain necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with audits, compliance requests (including Medicare ADRs/CERTs), and reporting needs
  • Support patient and family inquiries related to billing and financial matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed

  • Billing & AR Expertise - Strong understanding of medical billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes
  • Attention to Detail - Ability to manage detailed financial data with accuracy and efficiency
  • Problem Solver - Skilled in identifying issues, researching discrepancies, and resolving billing challenges
  • Communication Skills - Excellent phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Organized & Efficient - Able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, accounting, or administrative support
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing preferred
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and collections processes
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and billing software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
