Respiratory Therapist

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required in Critical Care and Emergency Department
License: Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner as required by state board
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT

Must-Have:
- Experience with adult and pediatric aerosol and medication delivery systems
- Familiarity with all modes of mechanical ventilation
- Experience with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, pneumonia, and airway management

Description:
This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in both adult and pediatric care.
The scheduling consists of three night shifts per week, with a possibility for additional shifts upon request.
Charting will be performed using Epic, and previous experience with this system is required.
All requests for time off must be submitted prior to the start of the contract.
The facility may call off one shift every two weeks.
The candidate must work one holiday during each 13-week contract.
Critical care experience is essential, along with exposure to a variety of respiratory conditions.
Candidates will need to manage intubation assists, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
Familiarity with mechanical ventilation systems and troubleshooting is expected.
The role involves caring for both pediatric and adult patient populations.
Travelers are required to work at least one holiday during their assignment, including during peak winter holidays.
Compliance documentation needs to be submitted by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start.
Local candidates are not accepted.
Return travelers must have been away for a minimum of one year before reapplying.
