WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of the Facilities Maintenance team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of all clubhouse, lodging, and on-property facilities.
  • Performand coordinate semi-skilled maintenance work across multiple trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs.
  • Ensure facilities are consistently maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
  • Maintain exterior facilities and property features, including painting, landscape support, fencing, and aesthetic improvements.
  • Perform custodial and general upkeep tasks as needed to support operations.
  • Replace light bulbs, repair ballasts, and complete basic electrical maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections of heating, electrical, and air conditioning systems and replace filters as needed.
  • Identify, document, and report more complex maintenance needs to the General Manager.
  • Maintain open communication with leadership regarding facility conditions, incidents, and repair needs.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of maintenance supplies and operate in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Ensure adherence to Dormie Network safety programs, procedures, and applicable codes.
  • Support special projects and facility improvements as directed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a courteous, service-oriented demeanor when interacting with members, guests, and staff.
  • Adheres to all Dormie Network's policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support smooth daily operations and events.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees daily operations of the Facilities Maintenance function.
  • Provides direction, coordination, and oversight of maintenance activities and staff as applicable.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience using maintenance tools and equipment required.
  • Water testing/treatment certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with well water systems preferred.
  • Prior facilities maintenance or supervisory experience preferred.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to walk and maneuver on uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stretch, push, pull, and perform physical labor as required.
  • Ability to visually inspect facilities, machinery, and materials.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and operate local machinery when properly licensed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment.
