Description:
The position involves working as a CT Tech.
Shift hours are 4x10s, Monday-Thursday.
There is no on-call requirement.
The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks.
Holidays must be worked in rotation with staff, typically one holiday per 13-week contract.
Emergency authorization can be granted for travelers with a license while waiting for permanent processing.
The required clinical skills include preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety.
Travelers may need to float to nearby facilities as needed.
The role involves working in a Level I Trauma Center.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Experience with community hospitals and trauma centers is preferred.
Travel experience is required.
Charting system experience is required with Epic.
Travelers should expect to work with patients of all ages.
Compliance documentation must be submitted before the start date.
Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position.
Return travelers must have been away for a minimum of one year before applying again.
Modules, which vary in length, are completed in the first week and are paid bi-weekly.
The role requires working nights and potential weekend shifts.
Various clinical skills such as adult and pediatric acute care are beneficial.
