This position works well for experienced CDL-A drivers who prefer defined routes and consistent freight movement rather than constantly changing freight lanes.
Route Overview
Drivers average approximately four loads per week covering close to 2,000 miles. Individual loads average roughly 490 miles, creating manageable runs that keep drivers operating within familiar territory. Backhaul freight frequently routes through Indianapolis before returning to the Virginia and West Virginia delivery network.
Freight Operations
Freight consists of dedicated grocery deliveries using a combination of drop-and-hook loads and live unload shipments. Drivers may use a powered pallet jack during certain deliveries, but heavy manual lifting is not required.
Equipment
Drivers are assigned sleeper tractors from a fleet of 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth trucks equipped with 1200–1500 watt inverters. Equipment is maintained to support dependable operation across the dedicated route network.

Driver Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid CDL-A license and live within the hiring area for this dedicated route. Drivers should be comfortable operating within an overnight delivery schedule and using a powered pallet jack when required.
