Location: Roanoke, VA
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (weekends as needed)
Pay: $23-25/hr
The Manufacturing Trainer will support preventative maintenance programs, equipment documentation, and training coordination within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with scheduling and tracking preventative maintenance (PM) activities including daily, monthly, and annual tasks.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation to ensure compliance and timely completion of PM work.
Support development and delivery of basic equipment and safety training materials.
Track and maintain training records and assist with evaluating training effectiveness.
Update and maintain production equipment setup sheets and documentation.
Ensure processes and documentation align with quality and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support equipment setup and operation.
Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
Generate reports and maintain organized records for maintenance and training activities.
Support additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on manufacturing or maintenance experience.
1-3 years of exposure to manufacturing, maintenance, or technical environments preferred.
Basic understanding of preventative maintenance programs is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude and interest in maintenance or technical operations.
Ability to learn maintenance systems and equipment documentation processes.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
