Job Title: Service and Installation Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Service and Installation Technician with over five years of experience. The role involves tasks related to both service and installation, including gas, boiler, and various piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation tasks related to gas, boiler, and piping systems.

• Work with various forms of piping including cast iron, copper, and PVC.

• Collaborate with team members to support cross-training initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant field.

• Proficiency in plumbing, HVAC installation, and piping.

• Experience with commercial and new construction projects.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman Card is a plus.

• OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment

Our work environment includes shifts from 7am to 5pm, with potential for four 10-hour days depending on project needs. Employees may work in varied conditions including extreme heat, cold, or adverse weather, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves standing and walking throughout the day, as well as lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs. All work sites are located within 1.5 hours of Roanoke, VA, providing a stable and accessible work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
