Position Overview
The Material Handler I plays a key role in supporting production by safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This position involves using hand trucks, hoists, and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, store, and distribute materials within production and warehouse areas. The role also supports receiving, inventory control, and shipping while ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday-Friday (currently working Saturdays as needed)
• 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• $18.00/hr + $1.00 shift differential

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming materials
• Store materials in designated locations
• Distribute materials to production areas
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Operate material handling equipment (10%-50% of time depending on assignment)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with inventory audits
• Prepare materials for shipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (required)
• 1-3 years of experience with inventory management systems (required)
