Part-Time Dishwasher

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join a hospital food services team. The successful candidate will ensure that all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and organized, supporting the safe and efficient operation of our patient and staff meal services.
Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using manual or mechanical methods.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils to maintain hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, floors, sinks, and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and organization as needed.
• Follow hospital and state health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Report any maintenance issues with dishwashing equipment promptly.
• Support overall team operations by performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Must have no criminal record.
• Must have in hand your immunization or vaccination records.
• Willing to get a TB Test administered.
• Valid photo ID.
• Must pass a drug screening.
