Work Scope
Mechanic will be working on commercial HVAC projects in Roanoke, VA.
Duties include:
- Installing commercial duct systems
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal
- Hanging and securing ductwork
- Working from mechanical blueprints and layout drawings
- Coordinating with HVAC crews and other trades
- Maintaining productivity and jobsite safety standards
- Minimum 3 years of commercial sheet metal experience REQUIRED
- Strong experience installing and hanging ductwork
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
- Must bring all required sheet metal hand tools
- Must have ALL PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
- Reliable transportation required
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
