Friendship is looking for Housekeepers to join our Friendship Home Care team who want to make a difference in our community! The Housekeeper is responsible for providing cleaning services to Home Care clients.

Shifts Available:

• PRN, as needed

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Disinfect and sterilize where needed
• Clean medical equipment, if needed; note any damaged or faulty equipment
• Clean and sanitize bathroom(s)
• Clean kitchen; all appliances inside and out
• Dust/wet mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Dust and clean windows sills and windows
• Launder soiled linens and personal clothing; return clean clothes to appropriate locations
• Clean inside and out of all cabinets
• Empty trash and move to designated area
• Ensure all entrances are clear and free of debris
• Attend required in-service training

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Housekeeping experience preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of SDS manuals, infectious/biohazard waste and environmental protocols
• Must have reliable transportation and/or ready access to public transportation at all hours
• Must have ability to travel within 50 mile radius of office location
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
