Position Overview
The Manufacturing Line Lead oversees production line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role is responsible for coordinating team activities, optimizing workflow, supporting equipment functionality, and driving production performance to meet daily targets. The Line Lead serves as a key communication bridge between production teams and leadership while ensuring compliance with company, safety, and cGMP standards.

Schedule & Pay

  • 3rd Shift - Monday-Friday (currently includes Saturdays as needed)
  • 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • $20/hr + $0.75 shift differential

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement quality control checks to ensure all products meet established standards.
  • Coordinate team efforts to maintain efficient production flow and meet output goals.
  • Optimize workflow and production processes to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Train and onboard new employees on production procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor production metrics and generate performance reports.
  • Accurately log transactions in the Inventory Management System (Epicor) to ensure all components and finished goods are properly accounted for.
  • Facilitate communication between production staff and management to support operational goals.
  • Maintain inventory of required materials to prevent production interruptions.
  • Complete Safety for Life inspection forms and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and cGMP standards.
  • Support equipment upkeep and basic troubleshooting to maintain production continuity.

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience Requirements
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Operations, industrial engineering, management, or related field experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience within manufacturing.
  • Experience with quality control processes and production standards.


Skills & Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes (high proficiency).
  • Equipment monitoring and basic maintenance support (high proficiency).
  • Production performance tracking and analysis (high proficiency).
  • Ability to coordinate teams and manage workflow efficiently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
