This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Roanoke, Virginia distribution center.
The position of Fork Lift Driver is responsible for not only the physical movement of the goods he/she transports, but also for the electronic movements within the warehouse management system. A Forklift Driver's responsibilities include the safe operation of the machine (according to company policy), and the proper mechanical inspections previous to operation (according to OSHA regulations).
A Forklift Driver receives assignments and carries them out in a timely manner and in a way that brings it to the next level of business in the process, internal or external. This position requires the Operator/Forklift Driver to manipulate the warehouse management system, operate a Forklift truck, and be able to remember and carry out specific procedures that are required by the internal transportation of palletized goods.
This position requires exceptional dedication to detail and to work independently. This position may require that the employee come in contact with or use hazardous chemicals, for which training will be provided. Forklift Drivers will meet the Management Standards of Moves per Hour and maintain an accuracy of moves of 99.5% to achieve the business needs. All personnel will work in any position in any department to accommodate our customers' needs.
The base pay range for this position is $19.00/hour. Normal working hours are Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm.

Employees will also receive 15 days of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
