Maximus is excited to announce an opportunity for a Systems Analyst. In this role, you will support complex application development, systems integration, and operational initiatives across various enterprise environments. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leaders to ensure that business requirements are effectively captured, translated, and implemented into system and process solutions.

The ideal candidate will apply industry-standard process modeling practices, cutting-edge data analysis techniques, and digital tools—including BPMN and SaaS integration frameworks—to enhance customer experiences and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support in troubleshooting and resolving website issues for both internal and external customers.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing, follow up on issue resolutions, and manage the loading of finalized materials into the content management system.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Utilize your skills to complete a broad range of tasks effectively.

Specific Duties:

  • Develop and manage Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents by gathering requirements, evaluating design enhancements, creating user stories, and supporting various stakeholders.
  • Assist in production support activities, such as job monitoring and critical issue resolution, while coaching team members and reporting findings.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document system-level requirements.
  • Define functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze and oversee business and systems process flows.
  • Monitor system health, evaluate process outcomes, and address system exceptions.
  • Execute advanced SQL scripts to validate data requirements and assist in AWS cloud migration projects.
  • Lead Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) activities and documentation.
  • Track development and implementation of test plans for QA compliance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of professional experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and tools like Jira.
  • Proficient in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0).
  • Background in application development and systems integration with SaaS products, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Experience supporting CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) and customer-experience technologies.
  • Familiarity with digital experience solutions and omnichannel service platforms.
  • Understanding of financial ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
  • Strong SQL and database management skills.
  • Experience collaborating in large, matrixed environments and with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

Salary Information

The minimum salary for this role is $69,440, while the maximum is $104,160, based on various factors including job location and candidate qualifications.
