Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be required to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of documentation and sensitive data.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash register area.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays in an orderly manner.
• Provide outstanding customer assistance and support.
• Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and any operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize financial losses.

Stock Associate Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure availability of fresh items.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to create appealing product displays.
• Organize incoming inventory and manage packaging waste appropriately.
• Safely operate store equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk within the store.
• Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.

Qualifications:

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Exhibit ability to clean and maintain standards set by the company.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Possess strong verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
• Manage time effectively to complete various tasks.
• Familiarity with company products and services is a plus.
• Cashier: Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Stock Associate: Safely operate equipment like hand jacks and scrubbers.
• Stock Associate: Availability for morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is an advantage.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
