Vinton Veterinary Hospital is looking for individuals to join its After Hours Urgent Care team. Our growing urgent care shift is looking for LV - Ts and Assistants to join a dynamic and passionate team that serves pets brought in for urgent care services after regular business hours and on Sundays. Job consists of triaging phone calls and walk-ins, assisting after hours doctor in treating urgent care type cases and providing excellent customer service to clients. Some sedated procedures and minor surgeries are included in services provided. Shifts range from full shift (1 pm-10 pm), partial shifts (6 pm-10 pm) shifts and Sunday (8:30 am-3 pm). Closing time does depend on cases that present each evening though most shifts conclude duties shortly after closing time. Shift differential of an additional 15% does apply for any hours worked after 5 pm or worked on Sunday.
