Oracle/Cerner Millennium Consultant

Location: Remote, Washington, DC

Duration: 12 months

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize laboratory clinical and business workflows.
• Support Oracle Cerner Millennium (PathNet) design/build validation activities.
• Serve as a liaison between the EHR vendor/system integrator and laboratory end users.
• Plan and execute testing, validation, and go-live readiness.
• Support LIS/EHR migration and cutover planning activities.
• Partner with interface/integration teams to support lab interfaces and results routing.
• Contribute to training and adoption.
• Support regulatory and quality activities.
• Provide project coordination and PMO support.

• 3 years supporting healthcare IT in a clinical, operational, or analyst capacity.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cerner Millennium, preferably PathNet.
• Experience with EHR/LIS implementations or migrations.
• Working knowledge of interfaces/integrations, including HL7 concepts.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience producing clear artifacts like workflow maps and requirements documentation.
• Experience providing PMO support.

• Experience supporting modernization programs in federal or large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with reference lab connectivity and vendor coordination.
• Experience with Cerner PowerChart components.
• Certification(s) in Oracle Cerner/Millennium solutions.
• PMO/project leadership credentials.
• Background in lab quality/regulatory support.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related discipline.
