HVAC Service Technician

Data Center Service Technicians travel extensively across the U.S. to start up, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Data Center equipment. This role requires independence, strong diagnostic abilities, and proficient project management skills while coordinating with other trades and services.

Responsibilities
  • Travel extensively (90% across the U.S.) to start up, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Data Center equipment.
  • Work independently, exhibiting strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Manage onsite projects and coordinate with other trades and services.
  • Provide training to customers and submit detailed service reports.
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in the Mechanical field, specifically HVAC.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in HVAC systems.
  • Proficient in refrigeration systems, controls, and PLC systems.
  • Capability to install and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge in electrical troubleshooting and refrigeration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 90% travel across the U.S. using provided service vehicle.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures such as Arc flash and lock-out tag-out.
  • Ability to pressure test, evacuate, and charge refrigeration systems.
  • Proficiency in brazing and soldering.
  • Holds a universal refrigeration card.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and programming controls systems.
  • Understanding of PLC platforms and ability to adjust settings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $87360.00/yr.
