The Quality Lab Technician ensures product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations and regulatory standards. This role manages in-process and finished product testing, including pH, viscosity, color, odor, and appearance, and supports manufacturing compliance.

Location: Roanoke, VA
Shifts: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Pay: $20-$23/hour plus shift differential ($0.75-$1)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and test bulk and finished product samples
  
• Prepare percent solution formulas for color batches
  
• Issue NCMRs for non-conforming or expired materials
  
• Generate Certificates of Analysis (C of A) for bulk shipments
  
• Maintain lab standards, samples, and documentation
  
• Enforce cGMPs and company policies
  
• Recertify annually as "Certified Nose" and "Certified Color Vision"
  
• Support manufacturing teams and perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree: no experience required
  
• Associate degree: 1 year lab experience in QA/QC
  
• High School/GED: 3-5 years lab experience in QA/QC
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AS400, RF scanner, and lab equipment
  
• Team-oriented, safety-conscious, and flexible with schedule
