Our client, an Industrial leader in Bedford VA, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the shipping department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have forklift skills,shipping and receiving skills and working outside in all weather conditions which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator/ Shipping and Receiving
Location: Bedford, VA
Pay Range: $17.50 hr
Hours 1st shift 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What's the Job?
- Driving a forklift and box truck to assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operating in and out of the plant in a primarily outdoor setting.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed during operations.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid forklift and box truck driving license (no CDL required).
- Ability to pass a substance use screening and background checks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work a day shift schedule, Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm, and Fridays 7 a.m. to noon
