At Earth Fare Our Team Members ensure that our customers visit to our store is fulfilling, having had all their questions answered and their shopping needs met. We hope that each customer leaves with a sense of having experienced community, knowing that we areexcited to see them again soon.

Dishwasher

Contributions

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, address their needs, and answer questions about products and store policies.
• Equipment Operation: Skillfully operates dishwashers and other cleaning machinery
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the deli and kitchen area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and provide support as needed.
• Team Work and Cross Training- Participate in cross training to gain knowledge and skills in multiple departments within the grocery store, such as produce, bakery, and customer service. Assist in other departments as needed, ensuring seamless store operations and consistent customer service. Adapt to varying roles and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support team members across different areas of the store.

Helpful and Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Previous experience in a deli, grocery, or food service environment preferred

Environmental Conditions & Physical Demands

• Lifting: Up to 25 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally (e.g., boxes of produce, deli supplies, restocking shelves)
• Reaching: Frequent reaching above shoulder level and below waist level (e.g., stocking high shelves, arranging items in low bins)
• Standing: Extended periods (e.g., stocking shelves, working at the deli counter)
• Pulling/Pushing: Moderate; pushing/pulling carts or pallet jacks with medium loads (e.g., transporting stock from the back room to the sales floor)
