Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Shipping - 2nd Shift. Roanoke, VA facility operates under Eaton's Electrical Sector providing products for Data Centers, Commercial Customers, Mining and Food & Beverage. Position offers full time employment of 40 hours and benefits consisting of medical, dental, vision, and retirement accounts (401K).
The hourly rate for this position is $20.78 + $1.25 shift differential per hour. The core hours are 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The shipper prepares products for shipment and keeps record of outgoing products. Shippers will track packages through use of RF (Radio Frequency) units. Shippers must maintain a safe work environment, and meet quality standards for packaging materials. Lift products manually to place them on to pallet. Communicate with coworkers to share expertise. Follow safety procedures for equipment to reduce potential for accidents. Examine products to ensure damaged products are not shipped. Use box cutters to cut packaging materials. Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning. Lift products to place them into boxes. Communicate with supervisors to resolve conflicts. Understand quota requirements to accomplish expected production level. Use RF (Radio Frequency) units to scan barcodes.
