Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or an equivalent program
  • Certifications Requirements: Washington PTA license, Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR certification
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years PTA experience in hospital settings, outpatient, or rehab environments; experience with aquatic therapy preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, excellent communication skills, strong collaboration and mentorship abilities

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy assistant services to patients in both subacute rehab and outpatient aquatic therapy settings
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs
  • Monitor patient progress and modify therapies as necessary under supervision
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress notes
  • Execute routine maintenance of therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients
