Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex litigation matters across auto liability, general liability, professional liability, and malpractice.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to develop strategic initiatives and elevate legal operations.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to BGSP's thought leadership and trial excellence.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, and high-level negotiations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, claims professionals, and internal teams.
• Shape legal strategy through expert motion practice, case assessments, and courtroom advocacy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership
• 10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or complex civil litigation
• Proven leadership in legal strategy, team development, and client relations
• Exceptional writing, oral advocacy, and courtroom presence
• Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience working with top-tier carriers and navigating high-stakes disputes
