Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in environments where the control plane is hosted in Citrix Cloud (SaaS) and the data plane is deployed on Azure VMs as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The current environment supports approximately 9,000 users on the Citrix platform.
Project Scope:
The engagement will include the following responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the current Citrix Cloud environment
• Identify and recommend the removal of users who no longer require access
• Evaluate and recommend a strategic transition plan to AWS Workspaces or an equivalent solution
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical expert to both technical teams and executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Citrix Cloud (SaaS) environments with Azure-hosted VDIs
• Experience with large-scale Citrix environments (preferably 5,000+ users)
• Strong understanding of alternative virtual desktop solutions (e.g., AWS Workspaces)
• Exceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to and advising executive-level stakeholders
• Must be based in the United States (onshore)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud migration strategies
• Prior involvement in enterprise-scale virtual desktop transitions
