Infrastructure as Code Developer

100% REMOTE but local to Lake Mary FL, Pittsburgh PA or Jersey City NJ/NYC are highly Preferred

12+ months Contract

Required Skills:

Must Have:

Infrastructure developer/Infrastructure as Code Engineer (Red Hat expert)

Write code to automate

Bulk with be automated by Ansible Tower, entry point RESTful API

- stubs out to Python CI/CD space

Familiarty with python

- not senior level developer, needs to be on infrastructure side

Product stacks involved

- Oracle, RedHat, Satellite, as well as GIT

Deep understanding of LEAP Product from RedHat to automate

Orchestrated by an internal tool called DBASS (don't need to know this).

Infrastructure developer in Scrum / Agile groups

Description:

• RHEL experience
• RHCE certificate (non-expired) or equivalent knowledge
• very good practical experience in RHEL 7, RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 operating systems
• expertise in automating deployments, management and support of multi-system environments at scale
• proper knowledge and understanding of virtualization and bare metal environments
• good understanding of security and hardening aspects of RHEL operating system
• good understanding of network and storage related topics
• good knowledge of Red Hat Satellite concepts

• experience in developing and maintaining Ansible automation playbooks
• experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• experience in maintaining and managing code with version control systems
• good understanding of Packer and Terraform
