[HYBRID] Mechanical Design Engineer (Warehouse Automation) Description

Our client, a leader in warehouse automation, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Woodridge, Illinois. In this role, you will apply and integrate conveyors, sortation systems, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) into large-scale warehouses, driving efficiency, scalability, and operational performance. You'll work on system-level design, layout optimization, and automation integration, shaping innovative, tech-forward solutions that combine robotics, intelligent sorting, and advanced material handling. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, and system commissioning, who are eager to work on large-scale, high-impact projects rather than part-level mechanical design. This is an opportunity to shape innovative, tech-forward systems that integrate robotics, intelligent sorting, and advanced material handling.

Note: This position requires onsite attendance during the first 30 days of training before transitioning to a permanent hybrid/remote model.

• Champion quality and continuous improvement across all projects
