Oversee Design, Dev, and Onboard of Configuration, Diagrams for App Installs and Upgrades
• On-premised data collection performance
• Plan for scaling
• Plan for upgrades
• Design for security
• Enforce least privileged access
• Remediate vulnerabilities
• Identify and prioritize activities to migrate
• Determine to-be development configurations
• Align user groups on standards and processes
• Upgrade data collection forwarders to supported version
• Implement federated search
• Implement data streaming (CRIBL)
• Implement Public Cloud technical addons (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, and ITSI content packs)
• Add public cloud technical addons
o GCP
o Azure
o AWS
• Add the ITSI content pack for cloud
• Consider bringing in cloud observability functionality (e.g., Splunk O11y)
• Move workloads off a data center and ingest data public cloud to splunk cloud
• Plan for default certificate replacement.
