Position Summary:
The position is for a System Integrator responsible for designing and implementing a robust financial planning solution at Client Defense, seamlessly integrated with SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with expertise across various functional areas in the A&D industry, including Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. This includes program management, EVMS implementations and compliance, scheduling, financial disciplines (pricing, program finance, FP&A, etc.), contract management, and a strong understanding of inter-company functional relationships. As the EVMS implementation SME, this role collaborates closely with program teams, other functions, Client IT, and Business teams to establish, design, and implement the solution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Apply extensive EVMS experience in leading the design and deployment of Plan to Perform solution for Finance in SAP ERP for Client Defense projects
• Serve as a subject matter expert on EVMS, deliverable content, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with finance business and IT teams to confirm planning and reporting requirements for Client ERP projects
• Utilize familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Costpoint, Cognos, and SAP PMMO / GPD for A&D industries.
• Develop and manage data mappings between the Earned Value cost engine and the schedule, financial imports, program/contract data, custom fields for reporting, and data export configuration.
• Utilize expert domain knowledge to develop advanced planning concepts, techniques, solutions, and standards.
• Influence business stakeholders to implement standard finance planning processes and adopt best practice ERP solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all financial tracking processes, including formal and informal EVMS systems.
• Work with Client IT and business teams to implement SAP solutions that minimize customization and meet business needs.
• Ensure ERP and Sapphire project business integrates with other enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle EAS, Hyperion, Deltek CostPoint).
• Own the requirements and testing for any system integrations related to planning.
• Maintain high functional competency in SAP S/4HANA configuration and associated integrations by staying updated on new trends and best practices.
• Verify completion of all necessary documentation as part of program delivery of the Plan to Perform solution deployment
• Identify and manage project related solution and delivery issues and risks in a timely manner.
