• The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce.
• SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap.
• Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
• Drives technical vision and influences product roadmap and vision
• Implement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects
• Leads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level design
• Supervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associates
• Directs root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
• Documents testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvements
• Influence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactively
• Supports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
• 7+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development
• 7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications
• 5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies
• 4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must
• 2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture
• 4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must
• 2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline

• Experience maintaining Salesforce.com in a complex environment

• Experience with CI/CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce
• Possess an expert level of knowledge of a CRM Sales and Customer Service functionality and integrations to external systems
• Experience with Security Model in Salesforce
• Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations, and connected web services
• Be flexible with changing priorities and comfortable working independently
• Manage heavy workloads and projects, many on a time-sensitive basis while still maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail

What makes a candidate profile stand out to you?

• Salesforce Administrator certification is required.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II is nice to have.

What will this person's day-to-day responsibilities be?

• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications
• Write coding solutions using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, RestAPIs)

• Work with tech lead and implment, debug, test and deploy business features

• Three tech leads with senior engineers and a couple of junior engineers

• Yes
