Digital Operations Intern (Temporary/Part-Time) - $18.50 per hour

JLM HR Consulting is seeking a tech-savvy and highly organized Digital Operations Intern to support our administrative, operational, and HR technology functions. This role requires hands-on experience with platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, ClickUp, and Breezy HR, while contributing to the operational success of a growing consulting practice. Work hours can be flexible. The selected candidate will work 10-12 hours per week during the duration of the internship.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Maryland state college or university and able to work on-site in our Gaithersburg, MD office at least 2 days per week.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

Digital Operations & Systems Support

  • Organize, manage, and update digital files and resources in SharePoint
  • Support task and workflow management using ClickUp
  • Assist in maintaining accurate system organization and documentation
  • Prepare and update internal documents, templates, and SOPs
HR Technology & Recruiting Support
  • Assist with recruitment workflows in Breezy HR
  • Support the recruiting function by generating client reporting, including data visualization and summary analytics
  • Create and manage reporting dashboards using Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and visual summaries
Process Improvement
  • Assist in developing and refining digital workflows
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency using technology
  • Support documentation of new processes and system updates
Requirements:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Maryland state college or university
  • Must be willing and have the ability to work on-site in Gaithersburg, MD at least 2 days/week
  • Comfortable with learning and navigating digital tools and workflows
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with project/task management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, Asana)
  • Exposure to HR technology or ATS platforms
  • Basic understanding of data visualization principles
