Mission Statement
The Sales Representative provides complete technology and services solutions to satisfy customer security, technology and business objectives while growing the Company's revenue, new customer acquisition and profitability targets. The Sales Representative is a Subject Matter Expert with the solutions the Company offers and has a goal of becoming a Trusted Advisor to the Company's clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and qualify potential customers, opportunities and develop an understanding of the markets these potential customers operate in. Research identified customers to understand what their most likely challenges and priorities may include.
  2. Contact potential customers and establish a connection with them, objective is a trusted advisor relationship, not a product-pusher. Uncover their real problems, constraints, selection criteria, decision makers and actual needs both stated and implied.
  3. Be able to articulate as a subject matter expert, the products and services the Company provides and be able to link these offerings to the customer's security, technology and business objectives.
  4. Create response packages to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and similar competitive bid advertisements.
  5. Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with leads, opportunities and sales stage information. Supply management regular reports on customer needs, problems, new product or service ideas/requests.
Desired Experience, Skills, Abilities and Credentials
  1. Highly motivated individual with proven track record of achieving / exceeding sales targets.
  2. Three or more years' experience selling security technology solutions.
  3. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation and selling skills.
  4. Ability to manage time, prioritize activities and maintain organized records.
  5. Experienced with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint and Visio.
  6. Experience with Public Sector purchasing contracts such as OGS, HIRE, NCPA, WSCA, others.
  7. Familiar with CRM tools and practices.
  8. Possesses a driver's license and a vehicle with the ability to travel to customer locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Compensation:
Base salary: $95K - $100K
OTE: $150K+
