About the role

The Carrier Management Specialist supports daily carrier performance execution, compliance monitoring, and vendor communication to ensure operational excellence across the transportation network. This role works closely with internal teams and external carriers to maintain service quality, improve efficiency, and meet SLA and OTD targets.

What you'll do

• Coordinate daily carrier operations and support SLA/OTD performance tracking.
• Monitor carrier compliance and assist with issue resolution and documentation.
• Maintain TMS carrier data, basic rate validation, and performance reporting.
• Communicate with carriers on requirements, performance gaps, and corrective actions.
• Support quarterly business reviews, SOP updates, and vendor scorecards.
• Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and finance to align capacity and execution.

• 1-3 years experience in carrier coordination, transportation operations, or logistics.
• Familiar with carrier compliance, rate structures, and performance metrics.
• Proficient in TMS systems and Excel reporting.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of capacity planning and basic transportation cost logic.
